Lead Go Developer

We are looking for a Lead Go Developer to join our remote team and execute the backend migration plan to serve existing and future customers.
As a Lead Go Developer, you will be responsible for migrating the old backend to the new one and designing and implementing the new backend architecture. This role requires expertise in Go Language, cloud platforms, and Google Cloud APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, frontend developers, and database administrators, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the new backend architecture for the migration project
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Go Language and other programming languages, as required
- Develop and deploy containerized applications on cloud platforms, ensuring they meet the project requirements
- Ensure the backend systems meet the security and performance standards
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support for their technical and professional development
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing backend systems using Go Language
- At least 1 year of experience in leading software development teams, demonstrating excellent leadership skills
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with Google Cloud APIs, including GKE, Anthos Service Mesh(or Istio), Cloud Tasks, Cloud PubSub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage
- Experience in SQL and database management
- Expertise in developing and deploying containerized applications on cloud
- Experience in media processing, especially videos
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a minimum of Upper-Intermediate level fluency (B2+)
