We are currently seeking a motivated and innovative Lead Generative AI Data Scientist to join our dynamic team.
In this crucial position, you will spearhead key use case evaluations, architectural designs, and the creation of innovative generative models that tackle complex business challenges. Your understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling will significantly contribute to EPAM's advancements. Responsibilities
- Maintain a leadership position in generative AI, deep learning, and related fields through continuous research
- Design, develop, and deploy tailored generative models for specific use cases
- Collaborate with data engineers and domain experts to process and enhance large-scale datasets
- Train and assess generative models using extensive datasets to establish effectiveness and drive improvements
- Partner with a diverse team, providing technical guidance and support for the seamless integration and deployment of generative AI solutions
- Explore new methods and tools to enhance generative model performance and keep abreast of industry trends
- Compile detailed technical documentation and communicate findings to aid organizational decisions and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Extensive experience in building and applying generative models, such as GANs, VAEs, and deep generative models
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, and in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling concepts
- Background in managing large-scale datasets and implementing preprocessing techniques
- Skills in data visualization and exploratory analysis tools
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a capacity to develop new solutions
- Strong communication skills for articulating complex topics to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute to complex projects
- Strong research and self-learning qualities, with a passion for staying updated on generative AI and related technologies
Nice to have
- Background in natural language processing (NLP) and text generation models
- Familiarity with cloud-based machine learning platforms and Generative AI services, such as Azure (Open AI, ChatGPT), Google Cloud, or AWS
- Knowledge of parallel computing and distributed training frameworks
- Contributions to the research community in generative AI or related fields
