We are seeking a Lead GCP DevOps Engineer to deliver reliable cloud automation by building CI/CD pipelines and hands-on Infrastructure as Code solutions. You will collaborate with a global team while covering the Mexico time zone. Apply to help streamline secure, scalable delivery!

Responsibilities
  • Design end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code foundations for Google Cloud Platform environments
  • Develop reusable Terraform modules that standardize provisioning and reduce drift
  • Configure IAM policies and access controls aligned with least-privilege principles
  • Implement Workload Identity Federation to enable secure authentication patterns
  • Review and improve existing IaC and pipeline code to enhance reliability and maintainability
  • Coordinate with a global team to plan execution while covering the Mexico time zone
  • Troubleshoot pipeline and infrastructure issues to restore service and delivery quickly
  • Document standards, modules, and operational runbooks to support consistent delivery
Requirements
  • 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience
  • Leadership experience guiding technical decisions and best practices (1+ years)
  • Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience
  • Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance experience
  • Hands-on Terraform experience, including module development
  • Project ownership skills to drive delivery across a global, time-zone distributed team
  • Strong security knowledge of IAM and identity federation concepts such as Workload Identity Federation
  • Strong CI/CD skills to design, build, and maintain deployment pipelines
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers across regions while covering the Mexico time zone
  • English proficiency at a B2+ level to ensure effective communication and documentation
