Lead Fullstack Developer (React and AWS)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Fullstack Developer with a strong focus on React and AWS to join our team.

In this role, you will oversee the development of scalable, high-quality fullstack applications and lead a team of engineers to deliver impactful solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems while leveraging modern cloud technologies. Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain fullstack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Node.js), Java (Spring Boot), and Python
  • Lead the creation and implementation of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda and other cloud services
  • Oversee frontend development using React, ensuring smooth integration with backend APIs and cloud-based services
  • Manage infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform and automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Docker, and AWS Elastic Beanstalk
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, security, and observability using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and New Relic
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices across projects
  • Contribute to technical documentation, onboarding processes, and key decision-making to support team growth and project success
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing web applications, including leading fullstack development projects
  • Proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams effectively in a professional environment
  • Advanced expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Node.js) and Java (Spring Boot) for fullstack development
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, as well as experience with Docker and CI/CD pipeline automation
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and experience in DevOps automation practices
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, including tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or RSpec
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic to ensure system reliability and performance
  • In-depth understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices design patterns
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentorship skills to guide and inspire engineering teams
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher for effective communication and collaboration
Nice to have
  • Experience with additional programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Rust
  • Familiarity with build and configuration tools like Maven, Projen, or similar technologies
  • Exposure to projects involving legacy systems, such as AS400, or experience in data migration initiatives
  • Experience with documentation tools and creating onboarding processes to improve knowledge sharing and team integration
