Lead Full Stack Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled remote Lead Full Stack Java Developer to join our Cloud Administration team and enable better governance, trust, and security for our enterprise-scale customers. As a senior software engineer on this team, you will work with a talented team of Product Managers, Designers, and Architects to build application-layer services encompassing backend development, monitoring, scaling, and optimizing to make the administration of products simple at Enterprise scale.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Architects to build application-layer services for enterprise-scale customers
- Drive innovation by coming up with new and exciting ideas to creatively solve issues
- Improve the design, interface, and architecture of products on the cloud
- Craft and implement highly scalable and performant RESTful micro-services
- Ensure application security and solid understanding of distributed systems
- Work with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker containers
- Collaborate effectively on ideas and designs with some of the best architects and developers
- Design and develop scalable, low-latency, and high-speed HTTP applications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in Java and crafting and implementing highly scalable and performant RESTful micro-services
- Proficiency in Java and ReactJS for building scalable applications
- Fluency in any one database technology (e.g. RDBMS like Oracle or Postgres and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB or Cassandra)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and application security
- Broad knowledge and understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands-on experience of public cloud offerings (AWS, GAE, Azure)
- Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and an engineering discipline to produce software with quality
- Solid understanding of application performance, and designing low latency, high-speed http applications
- Working well in a team, comfortable with code reviews and you can also collaborate effectively on ideas and designs with some of the best architects and developers
- English C1+
