Our Cloud Administration team is looking for a remote Lead Full Stack software engineer with extensive experience in Java and ReactJS to join our team. As a senior software engineer, you will work closely with our Product Managers, Designers, and Architects to create application-layer services that encompass backend development, monitoring, scaling, and optimization to make the administration of products simple at Enterprise scale.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Architects to build application-layer services
- Design and optimize backend development, monitoring, scaling, and optimization
- Work with cloud architecture patterns and remove blockers for adoption of cloud for enterprise customers
- Build features for our enterprise-scale customers to enable better governance, trust, and security
- Ensure application security and solid understanding of distributed systems
- Collaborate on ideas and designs with other architects and developers
- Perform code reviews and collaborate effectively on ideas and designs with the best architects and developers in the industry
- Drive innovation by coming up with new and exciting ideas to creatively solve issues
- Actively look for opportunities to improve the design, interface, and architecture of customer's products on the cloud
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in Java and crafting and implementing highly scalable and performant RESTful microservices
- Proficiency in Java and ReactJS
- Experience with Reactive Programming and cloud architecture patterns
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or Cassandra, and RDBMS like Oracle or Postgres
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and application security
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
- Broad knowledge and understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands-on experience of public cloud offerings (AWS, GAE, Azure)
- Solid understanding of application performance, and designing low latency, high-speed http applications
- English at a C1+ level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with GraphQL and web application development
- Experience with JavaScript libraries like JQuery
