We are currently looking for a remote Lead Front-End Software Engineer with 5+ years of JavaScript development experience and advanced knowledge of Core JS and React to join our team.
The customer is one of the world’s leading broadband, communication and converged video companies, with operations in six European countries.
Responsibilities
- Perform front-end development according to project requirements and needs
- Develop components of different levels of complexity
- Develop and implement new functionality
- Conduct code reviews
- Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new best practices to maximize the development quality and efficiency
Requirements
- 5+ years of JavaScript development experience
- Advanced knowledge of Core JS and React
- Hands-on experience with Redux, Reselect, Thunk, RxJS, Webpack, SASS
- Clear understanding of browser rendering pipeline
- In-depth knowledge of HTTP/WS protocols
- Familiarity with responsive web design principles
- Good knowledge of unit testing key principles
- Excellent communication skills
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
Nice to have
- Experience with multimedia/entertainment domain
- Experience with Streaming/DRM
