Lead Front End Developer

We are looking for a talented Lead Front End Developer with strong expertise in React JS and UX to join our remote team. As a Lead Front End Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of front-end applications using React JS, while also focusing on UX prototyping and CSS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of UX designs and bring them to life through elegant and efficient coding. Your role will involve working with various client-side package managers, task runners, and data stores to create responsive and visually appealing web applications.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of front-end applications using React JS and ensure the seamless integration of UX designs
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring UX designs to life through elegant and efficient coding
  • Utilize CSS preprocessors and client-side package managers to create responsive and visually appealing web applications
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of front-end applications
  • Conduct unit testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the front-end code
  • Collaborate with the UX team to prototype and implement user-friendly interfaces
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall code quality
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address their requirements and feedback
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of front-end development processes and best practices
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in React JS development of frontend applications
  • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
  • Proven expertise in UX prototyping and CSS preprocessors such as Sass and Less.js
  • Strong knowledge of client-side package managers and task runners like Gulp, Grunt, Bower, npm, webpack, etc.
  • Experience in working with datastores like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.
  • Proficiency in application authentication, including OAuth
  • Solid understanding of unit testing fundamentals
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher)
