You'll work in an environment where automation, observability, and engineering discipline are treated as core priorities rather than afterthoughts. If you're someone who takes pride in reducing operational toil while elevating the overall health and resilience of complex systems, this position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting technical impact
Responsibilities
- Work closely with application engineers to transform recurring operational tasks into automated, observable, and repeatable processes
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines, including automated quality gates, testing, deployment automation, environment management, and operational tooling, with a focus on improving stability and reliability across all environments
- Build and refine monitoring, alerting, dashboards, logging, and health checks to reduce dependence on manual daily system reviews
- Take part in the team's operational and on-call rotation, conducting health reviews, performing initial incident triage, and coordinating with application engineers when application-level fixes are needed
- Collaborate across teams on vulnerability management initiatives
- Establish clear visibility into dependencies and technology versions across repositories, including identifying unsupported or end-of-life packages and runtimes
- Strengthen secrets and service-account management practices, including automated credential rotation, dependency documentation, validation, and ongoing monitoring
- Work alongside engineers to help define and drive the team's adoption of containerization and Kubernetes
- Maintain operational documentation and runbooks while improving visibility into cross-system dependencies
- Identify repetitive operational work and engineer solutions to automate or eliminate unnecessary toil
- Identify and apply suitable AI-assisted approaches to boost engineering productivity, automate operational tasks, and speed up troubleshooting
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- At least one year of experience leading and managing teams
- Solid, hands-on experience in DevOps or platform engineering roles
- Working knowledge of .NET Framework and C# to support and maintain applications built on these technologies
- Practical experience with Generative AI-assisted development approaches to streamline and enhance the software delivery process
- Hands-on familiarity with JetBrains TeamCity for managing build automation and continuous integration pipelines
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and managing scalable application deployments
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and building operational tooling
- Experience applying AI-assisted engineering tools to speed up DevOps workflows and cut down on manual operational effort
Nice to have
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot to support and accelerate day-to-day coding and automation tasks
- Working knowledge of Linux for managing and maintaining server environments
- Experience with Microsoft Windows for supporting and administering Windows-based systems
- Exposure to MongoDB for working with NoSQL, document-based data storage
- Experience with PostgreSQL for managing and querying relational databases
- General knowledge of SQL databases for structuring, managing, and retrieving relational data
