We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to oversee and enhance sophisticated build environments spanning various native platforms, frameworks, plugins, and client applications.
You will work closely with development teams to optimize CI/CD workflows and unify build system standards. Join us to lead innovation in automation and client-focused service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support CI/CD pipelines for client platforms including mobile and device applications
- Build, maintain, and improve intricate build systems across multiple collaborative teams
- Automate CI/CD processes with on-device deployment and testing capabilities
- Develop and manage build containers for diverse devices and platforms
- Own and standardize build systems infrastructure and scripting across teams
- Customize build environments and offer support to internal and external collaborators
- Automate the collection and analysis of release metrics
- Diagnose and fix issues within build environments
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- Proven ability to administer and maintain Jenkins instances
- Experience with client build platforms for iOS, Android, and device applications such as Playstation, Xbox, Samsung, LG
- Strong knowledge of Jenkins scripted and declarative pipeline syntaxes
- Expertise in crafting efficient Docker images including Windows-based, multistage, and cross-architecture builds
- Hands-on experience managing artifact repositories like JFrog Artifactory
- Proficiency in scripting automation using Bash and PowerShell
- Comprehensive understanding of application compilation, build tools, and dependency management in languages like Java, Rust, Python, C, and C++
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach for effective collaboration
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Experience handling support requests and escalation priorities
- Experience supporting CI/CD workflows for mobile and device-based applications
- Comfortable leading end-to-end CI/CD process design and management
- English proficiency at B2+ level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI pipelines
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and CloudFormation
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience developing custom Groovy shared libraries
- Understanding of Kubernetes container orchestration
