We are seeking a skilled remote Lead DevOps Engineer with minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise services in Azure for our project.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of our Azure services and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth system integration and seamless deployment
- Lead in the selection and deployment of effective tools for monitoring, alerting, and reporting
- Implement effective security measures on all infrastructure components
- Apply best practices in the development, testing, and deployment of containerized applications
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Strong understanding of containerization concepts, including experience with Docker and basic knowledge of Kubernetes
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, and version control systems like Git and Bitbucket
- Understanding of agile tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Knowledge of monitoring systems like Datadog and Azure Application Insights
- Basic knowledge of MSSQL, MySQL, or any other databases
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with caching services like Redis
- Familiarity with serverless technologies like Azure Functions and App Service
