We are seeking a remote Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for ensuring the security and reliability of our Azure infrastructure. You will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation of innovative solutions within the industry. You will be responsible for leading a talented team of developers and engineers, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality software while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of Azure infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and security
- Collaborate with the cloud infrastructure team to ensure compliance with security standards and procedures
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in the infrastructure, responding to security alerts and implementing recommendations for improving the security posture
- Track open security tasks and request exceptions to the global team as needed
- Lead and mentor a talented team of developers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in development practices and technologies
- Create well-written documentation and procedures, and develop dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of Hands-on experience with provisioning, configuring, and securing Azure solutions y
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in network security and hub-and-spoke architectures, as well as experience with Palo Alto and other network virtual appliances (NVAs)
- Proficiency in scripting/automation and CI/CD in Azure
- Strong experience with Azure Cloud services, including MS Defender for Cloud/CSPM, WebApps, Virtual Machines, and Databases/Cosmos DB and MS SQL
- Strong experience in deploying and configuring container services (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Service)
- Working knowledge of Salesforce integration, and familiarity with cloud security best practices (encryption, certificate management, network security, etc.)
- Ability to solve technical, business, and process-related challenges through infrastructure-as-a-service or platform-as-a-service
- Good understanding of operation management technologies, including log aggregation, server monitoring, process monitoring, and application monitoring
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform, enabling efficient infrastructure provisioning and configuration
- Familiarity with Datadog for application monitoring and troubleshooting
