We are seeking a remote Lead DevOps Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex cloud applications and experience with containers, specifically Azure Containers. The project entails migrating apps and common services from GCP to Azure, so knowledge of both platforms is necessary. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will work with software developers and the cloud team to design, deploy and maintain services on Azure.
Responsibilities
- Work with software developers and the cloud team to design, deploy, and maintain services on Azure
- Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Set up Kubernetes clusters from scratch and deploy containers on them
- Monitor infrastructure and services using Azure Monitor and other cloud-native tools
- Lead a team of DevOps Engineers and collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps experience
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- CKA certification
- Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (setting up clusters from scratch)
- Proficient in Azure/AKS, Azure Container Registry, Azure Monitor, and Azure DevOps
- Solid understanding of GCP/GKE and experience with migrating apps from GCP to Azure
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with Java Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Azure Keyvault
- Experience with Jenkins and other CI/CD tools
