We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and possess strong leadership qualities to guide and mentor the DevOps team. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust DevOps practices, overseeing the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure, and driving continuous improvement in our software delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the DevOps team, providing technical guidance and support
- Design and implement efficient and scalable CI/CD pipelines
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management
- Manage and optimize containerized applications
- Oversee the implementation of infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for cloud resources
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth software delivery and release processes
- Monitor and analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience, leading and managing a DevOps team
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and YAML
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and scripting with PowerShell
- Familiarity with YAML pipeline configuration for Azure DevOps
- Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Proven track record in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for cloud resources
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- B2+ English level for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
Nice to have
- Additional experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Certification in Microsoft Azure or other relevant DevOps certifications
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Exposure to serverless computing and event-driven architectures
