We have an opening for a proficient Lead DevOps Engineer to join our organization. Responsibilities
- Oversee and deliver large-scale platform migration initiatives while limiting disruption to teams actively developing
- Construct and maintain automation frameworks that support reliable, repeatable deployment practices
- Identify and resolve technical issues occurring across build, release, and integration workflows
- Establish and oversee access controls and security configurations spanning multiple development platforms
- Build out scripts and internal tools designed to cut down on manual work tied to routine operations and administration
- Partner with engineering groups to review infrastructure needs and propose relevant improvements
- Keep tabs on system reliability and performance, stepping in ahead of time to resolve potential failure risks
- Maintain thorough documentation of workflows, configuration details, and migration activities to facilitate team-wide knowledge sharing
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant, hands-on experience in a DevOps Engineer capacity
- At least one year spent leading or managing development teams
- Hands-on background administering GitHub Enterprise Cloud and EMU, including managing repository and organization migrations via GitHub Enterprise Importer (GEI)
- Experience troubleshooting and migrating GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines, including work with self-hosted runners, secrets, permissions, and connected integrations
- Proficient in Python and/or PowerShell, as well as GitHub REST and GraphQL APIs, to automate migration processes, configuration management, permission settings, and post-migration checks
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
