We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining an AWS cloud platform that collects and organizes data streams from customer factories. The platform will provide users with valuable insights into factory performance, utilizing rich UI charts to enhance decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Amazon Web Services and be passionate about designing and implementing robust cloud infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure to support data-stream processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration of components
- Architect and manage AWS services, and ELB, to ensure optimal performance
- Utilize Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate containerized applications
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for efficient software deployment
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer, demonstrating a strong background in cloud infrastructure
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience, showcasing the ability to guide and mentor a DevOps team
- Proficiency in a wide range of AWS services, including EKS, VPC, EC2, S3, and ELB
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) provisioning
- Strong expertise in Ansible for configuration management and automation
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Fluent in English at a B2+ level, enabling effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AWS Timestream for managing and querying time-series data
- Knowledge of AWS Cognito for identity and access management
- Experience with AWS MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka) for building scalable streaming platforms
- Understanding of AWS IoT Core for managing Internet of Things devices and data
