Lead DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to architect, implement, and scale infrastructure and delivery pipelines that ensure operational excellence.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation, cloud setups, container orchestration, and CI/CD workflows, focusing on security and reliability. Join our team to drive innovative solutions and continuous enhancement in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities
  • Design and support resilient CI/CD pipelines for deployments across multiple environments
  • Automate build, testing, and deployment processes using up-to-date CI/CD technologies
  • Enhance pipeline efficiency, stability, and developer usability
  • Plan and oversee scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
  • Apply Infrastructure-as-Code practices with Terraform or equivalent tools
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and standardization of environments
  • Develop, manage, and refine containerized applications using Docker
  • Operate and expand Kubernetes clusters on Google Kubernetes Engine
  • Deploy advanced rollout techniques like blue/green, canary, and rolling updates
  • Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting frameworks
  • Lead incident management, root cause investigations, and reliability enhancements
  • Partner with engineering teams to integrate Site Reliability Engineering principles and set SLIs/SLOs
  • Incorporate security scans such as SAST, DAST, and dependency analysis into CI/CD pipelines
  • Administer identity and access controls, secrets management, and enforce least-privilege policies
  • Work cross-functionally and mentor junior team members; promote DevOps best practices and documentation
Requirements
  • Proven DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience (5+ years)
  • Extensive expertise in Google Cloud Platform covering networking, compute, storage, IAM, and security
  • Advanced skills with Kubernetes, Docker, and large-scale container orchestration
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks like Terraform
  • Strong scripting abilities in Python and Bash
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD systems and Git workflows
  • In-depth understanding of Linux/Unix internals, networking, and troubleshooting
  • Experience embedding security into CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with developers, product teams, and leadership
  • Ownership-driven mindset with ability to lead initiatives to completion
  • Dedication to automation, system reliability, and ongoing improvement
  • English language proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2)
Nice to have
  • Practical experience with Ansible for configuration management
  • Familiarity with Go programming language
  • Exposure to Grafana for monitoring and data visualization
  • Hands-on experience with Istio service mesh technology
