We seek an experienced Lead Datapath Software Developer with expertise in C and C++ to lead the development of subsystems within our distributed storage systems. If you are fueled by a passion for high-performance computing and eager to make a significant contribution, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Exhibit proficiency in C and C++ programming to create efficient and maintainable code
  • Make architectural decisions aimed at scalability and delivering industry-standard performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared project objectives
  • Identify performance bottlenecks in code and optimize for multi-core and distributed environments
  • Conduct in-depth code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers
  • Solve complex technical challenges and develop effective, innovative solutions
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-6 years in software development with expertise in distributed storage systems
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages with understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Background in leading the design and development of entire subsystems within complex storage environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities using competency in issue resolution
  • Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Effective communication tailored for a collaborative, team-oriented setting
  • Enthusiasm to tackle complex technical challenges through self-motivated initiative
  • Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
  • Familiarity with the Python programming language
