Responsibilities

Apply proficiency in C and C++ programming to create efficient, maintainable code
Make architectural decisions that prioritize scalability and boost industry-level performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common project objectives
Evaluate performance limitations in code and refine it for multi-core and scale-out environments
Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive guidance to junior developers
Tackle complex technical hurdles and design impactful, innovative solutions

Requirements

At least 5-6 years of software development experience specializing in distributed storage systems
Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages with expertise in data structures and algorithms
Background in driving the development of complete subsystems within intricate storage architectures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with competency in resolving technical challenges
Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
Effective communication skills suited for collaborative, team-focused settings
Enthusiasm for engaging with complex technical problems through self-guided exploration
Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level

Nice to have

Understanding of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
Familiarity with Python programming language
