Responsibilities
  • Apply proficiency in C and C++ programming to create efficient, maintainable code
  • Make architectural decisions that prioritize scalability and boost industry-level performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common project objectives
  • Evaluate performance limitations in code and refine it for multi-core and scale-out environments
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive guidance to junior developers
  • Tackle complex technical hurdles and design impactful, innovative solutions
Requirements
  • At least 5-6 years of software development experience specializing in distributed storage systems
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages with expertise in data structures and algorithms
  • Background in driving the development of complete subsystems within intricate storage architectures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with competency in resolving technical challenges
  • Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Effective communication skills suited for collaborative, team-focused settings
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with complex technical problems through self-guided exploration
  • Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Understanding of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
  • Familiarity with Python programming language
