Responsibilities
- Apply proficiency in C and C++ programming to create efficient, maintainable code
- Make architectural decisions that prioritize scalability and boost industry-level performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common project objectives
- Evaluate performance limitations in code and refine it for multi-core and scale-out environments
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive guidance to junior developers
- Tackle complex technical hurdles and design impactful, innovative solutions
Requirements
- At least 5-6 years of software development experience specializing in distributed storage systems
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages with expertise in data structures and algorithms
- Background in driving the development of complete subsystems within intricate storage architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with competency in resolving technical challenges
- Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
- Effective communication skills suited for collaborative, team-focused settings
- Enthusiasm for engaging with complex technical problems through self-guided exploration
- Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Understanding of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
- Familiarity with Python programming language
