Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++ programming to create efficient and maintainable code
  • Make architectural decisions to ensure scalability and achieve industry-class performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve collective project objectives
  • Identify performance bottlenecks in code and optimize implementations for multi-core and distributed environments
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive input to support junior developers
  • Tackle complex technical problems and design effective, innovative solutions
Requirements
  • 5-6 years of experience in software development with a concentration on distributed storage systems
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages along with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Background in developing and leading entire subsystems within sophisticated storage solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with competency in resolution of technical issues
  • Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Effective communication skills suited for collaborative, team-based work environments
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with complex technical topics through self-motivation
  • Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
  • Familiarity with Python programming skills
