We are seeking an accomplished Lead Datapath Software Developer with expertise in C and C++ to spearhead the development of subsystems within our distributed storage environments. Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++ programming to develop efficient and maintainable code
  • Make architectural decisions to ensure systems scale and deliver cutting-edge performance
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve alignment on project objectives
  • Diagnose performance bottlenecks and optimize for multi-core and scale-out environments
  • Perform comprehensive code reviews and provide detailed feedback to junior developers
  • Address multifaceted technical obstacles and design effective, innovative solutions
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in software development with distributed storage systems
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Background in leading the development of subsystems in complex storage environments
  • Strong analytical aptitude and competency in tackling technical problems
  • Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Effective communication abilities suited for team-based collaborations
  • Enthusiasm for delving into complex technical subjects with a self-motivated approach
  • Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
  • Familiarity with Python programming
