Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++ programming to develop efficient and maintainable code
- Make architectural decisions to ensure systems scale and deliver cutting-edge performance
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve alignment on project objectives
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks and optimize for multi-core and scale-out environments
- Perform comprehensive code reviews and provide detailed feedback to junior developers
- Address multifaceted technical obstacles and design effective, innovative solutions
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in software development with distributed storage systems
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Background in leading the development of subsystems in complex storage environments
- Strong analytical aptitude and competency in tackling technical problems
- Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
- Effective communication abilities suited for team-based collaborations
- Enthusiasm for delving into complex technical subjects with a self-motivated approach
- Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
- Familiarity with Python programming
