We are searching for an experienced Lead Datapath Software Developer with expertise in C and C++ to oversee the development of subsystems within our distributed storage systems. Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++ programming to create efficient and maintainable code
  • Make architectural decisions that support scalability and ensure high-level performance benchmarks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve aligned project objectives
  • Diagnose performance bottlenecks in code and optimize for multi-core and scale-out environments
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide valuable feedback to junior developers
  • Solve complex technical challenges by crafting innovative and effective solutions
Requirements
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in software development with a focus on distributed storage systems
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages with understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Background in leading the development of entire subsystems within complex storage solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with competency in resolving technical issues
  • Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Effective communication skills suited for collaborative, team-oriented settings
  • Enthusiasm for delving into complex technical areas with a self-driven approach
  • Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Expertise in Linux or BSD kernel-level development
  • Understanding of Python programming language
