We are searching for an experienced Lead Datapath Software Developer with expertise in C and C++ to spearhead the development of subsystems within our distributed storage solutions. Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++ programming to deliver efficient and maintainable code
  • Drive architectural decisions to achieve scalability and high performance at the industry level
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives
  • Analyze code for performance bottlenecks and optimize for multi-core and distributed environments
  • Conduct detailed code reviews and provide constructive guidance to junior developers
  • Solve complex technical problems with innovative and effective solutions
Requirements
  • 5-6 years of experience in software development focused on distributed storage systems
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Background in overseeing the development of complete subsystems within complex storage environments
  • Strong analytical skills with competency in resolving technical challenges
  • Skills in distributed file systems and network communication protocols
  • Excellent communication abilities for fostering team collaboration
  • Interest in exploring complex technical subjects with a self-motivated approach
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Linux or BSD development at the kernel level
  • Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation tasks
