Our remote team is looking for a Lead Data & Web Analyst who is adept in Google Analytics and Google Cloud BigQuery.
The perfect fit for this role will exhibit strong English language skills and a data-oriented approach, which is crucial for troubleshooting and enhancing product performance, as well as user experience and conversion rates. The role involves strategic guidance to ensure data and reports answer key business questions, identifying and consolidating the main data points in the user journey. The candidate will also be tasked with designing and implementing data analytics/visualization solutions, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and drafting project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Gathering business requirements and assessing new features and architecture
- Creation and implementation of data visualizations for product and commercial teams
- Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders, agencies, and development teams
- Detailed analysis of business issues and technical environments
- Active participation in code review and solution testing
- Writing and maintaining documentation
- Establishing cross-functional collaboration between product, UX, user testing, and analytics teams
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Web Analytics
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Cloud BigQuery
- Experience with data visualization and user journey optimization
- Skills in SQL, Looker, and Google Tag Manager
- Capability to troubleshoot, improve product performance, and enhance user experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Experience with data streams from various services and translating technical language into layman's terms
- Awareness of GDPR compliance
Nice to have
- Experience in app, web, and digital analytics
- Familiarity with Firebase, Google Analytics 4, and Looker/Metabase
- Understanding of basic SQL
