We are seeking a talented Lead Data Software Engineer/Data Solution Architect to join our team in the automotive sector.
This role involves working with innovative recon software that simplifies documentation, optimizes processes, and delivers instant insights into business operations. Our goal is to provide the most dynamic and user-friendly technology solutions for automotive reconditioning businesses.
In this dual role, you will take on the responsibilities of both an architect and an engineer. As an Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing schemas and pipelines, defining transformations, and orchestrating efficient data insertion into an analytics-focused relational structure. As an Engineer, you will execute these designs, crafting a robust and efficient system, and utilizing your development expertise to enhance data processing capabilities.
Our current data originates from a MongoDB dump stored in Snowflake, and familiarity with these technologies will be advantageous.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals who excel in both engineering and architectural disciplines and are eager to make a significant impact on our client's business operations.
- Design schemas and pipelines
- Enforce an efficient structure for data insertion
- Build a system focused on optimized data processing
- Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake
- Background in Star or Snowflake schema design
- Skills in data warehousing, analytics, and data modeling
- Experience in cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for analysis
- Familiarity with a Business Intelligence tool (Domo preferred)
- Background in MongoDB
