Responsibilities
- Formulating scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions
- Holding code reviews to enforce adherence to coding standards
- Enforcing team adherence to standard engineering practices, including testing and CI/CD
- Carrying out performance testing and optimization for improved system efficiency
- Incorporating monitoring and observability capabilities into the software solutions
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Data Software Engineering or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in AWS, Apache Kafka, PySpark, Snowflake, and dbt
- Demonstrated experience in crafting scalable, secure, and reusable data transformation and processing solutions
- In-depth knowledge of integration with monitoring and observability capabilities
- Experience with performance testing and optimization
- Sound understanding of standard engineering practices such as testing and CI/CD
- Capability to hold code reviews and enforce adherence to coding standards
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficient English communication skills at a B2+ level
