We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Data Scientist to develop innovative solutions using advanced technologies, including NLP, generative AI, and large language models (LLMs).

This role will significantly influence the organization's data strategy, with a primary focus on life sciences and healthcare applications.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and deployment of LLM-based generative AI applications tailored to real-world challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt engineering best practices and advanced NLP techniques
Utilize experience with LLM orchestration frameworks like Langchain or Llama-index to improve model performance and reliability
Provide direction for topic modeling initiatives, including employing BERTopic to extract insights from unstructured data
Ensure adherence to Responsible AI principles by maintaining ethical standards and compliance with regulations
Identify areas within the life sciences and healthcare sectors for effective generative AI solutions
Offer technical guidance and leadership to junior data scientists, encouraging innovation and skill development
Monitor developments in NLP, generative AI, and Responsible AI to keep the organization technologically competitive

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in data science, with expertise in Python, natural language processing, and generative AI
Proficiency in utilizing large language models and applying prompt engineering for enterprise solutions
Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks like Langchain, Llama-index, or HuggingFace
Background in topic modeling, including practical application of BERTopic for comprehensive data analysis
Comprehensive understanding of AI ethics and Responsible AI in industries such as life sciences and healthcare

Nice to have

Proficiency in developing LLM-based solutions for healthcare or life sciences applications
Competency in integrating AI-driven systems into workflows within regulated sectors
Understanding of experimental methodologies in explainable AI or LLM interpretability
