Lead Data Integration Engineer
We are actively seeking a Lead Data Integration Engineer to become a part of our team in Lisbon, tasked with leading the development of ETL solutions across a diverse range of industries.
This position is essential for handling complex data types and improving our capabilities in business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of data integration tools and be able to efficiently manage projects, while working seamlessly with both local and remote teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as the key liaison between clients and remote teams
- Create, design, and implement effective Informatica ETL mappings
- Develop stored procedures and perform efficient database queries
- Convert business requirements and analyst inputs into technical specifications
- Discover, test, and fix bugs and performance issues in ETL solutions
- Maintain high performance and quality of Informatica mappings and PLSQL packages
- Consistently deliver project updates including milestones and deliverables
- Collaborate with remote teams to ensure project alignment with client expectations
- Offer support and address issues within the Informatica mappings
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a comparable role
- Proficiency in Oracle 12c, Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, and PLSQL
- Background in crafting advanced SQL queries and some query optimization
- Experience in data architecture and implementing comprehensive ETL processes with Informatica for ODS, staging, and data warehousing contexts
- Familiarity with developing advanced UNIX Shell Scripts
- Skills in deploying and troubleshooting Informatica Mappings environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with business users and technical peers
- Demonstration of exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with C#/.NET
- Proficiency in Dell Boomi with 1-2 years of experience
- Background in data modeling
