We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing robust support for our platform. You will address technical and operational data challenges while advancing our infrastructure through various strategic projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, and maintain software and data engineering solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, developers, and project managers
- Ensure solutions align with project requirements, performance objectives, and scalability needs
- Adopt and utilize client-specific technologies and tools to address project objectives
- Create technical documentation covering analysis, design, and implementation
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and collaborative team activities
- Contribute to system enhancements, platform migrations, upgrades, and stabilization efforts, including documenting requirements and resolving issues
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Understanding of data architecture concepts for relevant applications
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes
- Solid background in software development lifecycle practices
- Strong proficiency in SQL with capability to build and optimize large-scale data pipelines on Big Data infrastructure
- Extensive skills in data analysis and validation
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java
- Familiarity with Linux terminal operations
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher
