We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing robust support for our platform. You will address technical and operational data challenges while advancing our infrastructure through various strategic projects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, and maintain software and data engineering solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, developers, and project managers
Ensure solutions align with project requirements, performance objectives, and scalability needs
Adopt and utilize client-specific technologies and tools to address project objectives
Create technical documentation covering analysis, design, and implementation
Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and collaborative team activities
Contribute to system enhancements, platform migrations, upgrades, and stabilization efforts, including documenting requirements and resolving issues

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Understanding of data architecture concepts for relevant applications
Experience with ETL/ELT processes
Solid background in software development lifecycle practices
Strong proficiency in SQL with capability to build and optimize large-scale data pipelines on Big Data infrastructure
Extensive skills in data analysis and validation
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java
Familiarity with Linux terminal operations
English proficiency at B1 level or higher

Background in data modeling
Understanding of DevOps practices and methodologies
