We are on the lookout for a Lead Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen and guide the security strategy of our infrastructure at Europe’s premier online restaurant reservation platform.
As an integral part of the Security team, you will take charge of securing, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions that empower our SaaS services and high-traffic B2C platforms. Be part of our vibrant, high-energy culture and redefine how dining is experienced across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering teams by identifying, designing, and implementing advanced cloud security solutions
- Design secure DevOps frameworks for hybrid cloud environments
- Lead security integration across the entire software development lifecycle
- Develop secure, reusable Infrastructure as Code practices
- Take ownership of managing security resources and associated tools
- Direct the analysis of security alerts, prioritize risks, and coordinate solutions
- Guide teams in addressing sophisticated security concerns in their cloud designs
- Establish robust processes for security alert monitoring and problem resolution
- Develop and deliver advanced training on next-generation cloud projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or DevOps, with a background in managing high-traffic websites using Linux, Apache/Nginx, Varnish, Node.js/PHP
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in relevant roles
- Proficiency in configuration management tools like Terraform
- Expertise in DevOps workflows and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in scripting languages, including Bash, Python, or Ruby
- A proactive mindset for evolving security practices with proven leadership
- Rigorous, dynamic, curious, and collaborative approach to work
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and knowledge sharing
- Fluency in English for communication in an international environment
Nice to have
- Background in designing secure network connections across multiple cloud accounts
- Understanding of key networking differences across AWS and Azure environments
- Qualifications in performing and leading resolution after technical security assessments
- Showcase of advanced familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
- Capabilities to discern distinctions between leading cloud providers and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure
- Familiarity with tools and platforms, including ELK, Prometheus, Istio, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
- Skills in team leadership, communication, and collaboration, with a focus on guiding DevOps initiatives
