We are seeking a skilled remote Lead Cloud Platform Developer with expertise in Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, and CI/CD to join our team.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-native applications, managing deployments, and ensuring the availability, scalability, and performance of AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native applications on AWS platform
- Manage end-to-end deployment processes and ensure high availability, scalability, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable solutions
- Mentor and manage other developers, and provide technical guidance to team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud-native architectures, security, and performance best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing with at least 3 years of experience in AWS
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Knowledge of Docker, Terraform, and Helm
- Experience in using Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
- Understanding of AWS Lambda, EMR, Dynamo DB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and CodeDeploy
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack
- Experience with MongoDB, RDBMs, Kafka, and OpsGenie
