We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Engineer (GCP) to join our remote team. As a Cloud Engineer in the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering organization, you will work on the Cloud Developer Platform and Interfaces that enable streamlined application and service development on top of our Cloud Infrastructure. As a customer centric engineering organization, you’ll work closely with our customers ensuring fast turn around of feature requests and bug fixes. You will be working on capabilities that will reduce engineering effort to provision, deploy, configure, update and repair activities during the lifecycle of an application, game or service running on our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and maintenance of capabilities that streamline application and service development on Cloud Infrastructure
  • Work closely with customers to ensure fast turnaround of feature requests and bug fixes
  • Reduce engineering effort in provisioning, deploying, configuring, updating, and repairing activities during the application lifecycle
  • Collaborate with multiple teams globally to evolve as a center of excellence for Cloud Infrastructure and Online Game Developer Experience
  • Implement 'you build it, you run it' practice for all capabilities offered by the organization
  • Mentor and monitor the team members
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
  • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
  • Proven experience in MySQL administration and troubleshooting in distributed systems
  • Deep knowledge and experience in Google Cloud Platform, AWS IAM, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
  • Strong expertise in Terraform
  • Experience in maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting instances in GCP with a focus on SRE practices and on-call duties
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in distributed systems
  • B2+ English level proficiency

  • Experience with Ansible, Git, and PHP
