We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated remote Lead Cloud Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant work experience and at least 1 year of leadership experience, with a strong focus on Azure, Kubernetes, and network topologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure Infra-as-Code using ARM/Bicep or Terraform for cloud database provisioning and management
- Manage Kubernetes pod deployments and configuration using Helm charts deployments
- Ensure proper Kubernetes network configuration, including service mesh
- Oversee release engineering processes and orchestration configuration and optimization (GH actions)
- Maintain and optimize Azure network topologies, including App Gateway configurations, DNS record management (Infoblox/Azure Private DNS), firewall management, and CA certificate management
- Set up and manage logging and monitoring configurations
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in Azure Infra-as-Code using ARM/Bicep or Terraform
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes pod deployments and configuration using Helm charts deployments
- Experience with Kubernetes network configuration, i.e., service mesh
- Familiarity with release engineering processes and orchestration configuration and optimization (GH actions)
- Understanding of Azure network topologies, i.e., App Gateway configurations, DNS record management (Infoblox/Azure Private DNS), firewall management, CA certificate management
- Proficiency in logging and monitoring configuration
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of additional scripting languages, such as Python or Ruby
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker
- Certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, or other relevant technologies
