We are seeking a Lead C++ Developer with MFC expertise to join our remote team.
As a Lead C++ Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers to deliver high-quality software products. You will work closely with the client's project managers, software architects, and other technical leads to design, develop, and test software applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in C++ Core, algorithms & data structures, C++ STL containers, and code review.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers to deliver high-quality software products
- Design, develop, and test software applications using C++ and MFC
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Collaborate with project managers, software architects, and other technical leads to ensure successful delivery of software products
- Provide technical leadership to the team and mentor junior developers
- Identify and mitigate technical risks
- Ensure that all development activities are carried out in accordance with the client's development processes and standards
- Participate in the development of project plans and schedules
- Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in C++ development
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
- Expertise in C++ Core, algorithms & data structures, and STL containers
- Experience in code review
- Strong experience with MFC and desktop UI testing
- Experience with APIs and integration
- Understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Component Object Model and database performance optimization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level)
