We are in search of a highly capable and strategic Lead Business Systems Analyst to become part of our offshore team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in Financial Services, ideally within Wealth Management, along with strong strategic thinking, data mapping, and UX design skills. This role acts as an essential connector between onshore clients and offshore development teams, ensuring smooth communication, aligned requirements, and delivery of impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with onshore clients, offshore development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to gather, examine, and document business and technical requirements with a strategic approach
- Shape the strategic direction for product and solution development, keeping it aligned with business goals and long-term value
- Head data mapping efforts, converting complex business data needs into clear, actionable technical specifications
- Use UX design principles to craft intuitive, user-focused solutions and wireframes that improve user experience and engagement
- Build thorough testing strategies and scenarios to guarantee solution quality, reliability, and alignment with business goals
- Create insightful Power BI reports and dashboards that enable data-driven decisions for stakeholders
- Show a deep understanding of investment products, user stories, and features, along with their value to end users, and clearly convey these insights to product and technology teams
- Guide and support Agile product teams in managing stories and features, including breaking down stories to improve delivery and clarity
- Work with Product Owners to shape Epic MVPs and build iterative delivery plans that deliver maximum value to target audiences
- Lead and take part in technical grooming sessions with technology teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and actionable
- Stay highly engaged and visible by joining video calls for most interactions, promoting strong collaboration and openness
- Construct complex application workflows that involve external systems and clearly flag dependencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis and requirements management within Financial Services, with Wealth Management experience strongly preferred
- A minimum of one year of experience leading and managing development teams
- Working knowledge of REST APIs
- Proven ability to think strategically and steer product vision
- Demonstrated experience in data mapping and converting business data needs into technical requirements
- Practical experience with UX design, wireframing, or prototyping tools
- Experience building testing strategies and detailed test scenarios
- Skilled in developing Power BI reports and dashboards
- Solid technical understanding of API specifications, backend systems, and integration patterns
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile environments, supporting story and feature management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to connect business and technical viewpoints
- Comfortable operating in a remote or offshore setting, with dedication to video-based collaboration
- Excellent English proficiency (B2 level or higher)

- Experience building Data Flow Diagrams
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
