We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join our team.
As a Business Analyst, you will drive the CPQ-to-BRIM billing stream by connecting Sales CRM capabilities with SAP BRIM processes. The position involves shaping, assuring, and maintaining the information flows that transform customer agreements and consumption details into precise billing outcomes
Responsibilities
- Map and establish complete data routes for moving contract and consumption information from Sales CRM to SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation
- Confirm that usage inputs generate the appropriate billable items and correctly compare contractual commitments with actual consumption
- Maintain Convergent Mediation configurations, investigate processing problems, and restore stable billing operations
- Align Mediation and Convergent Invoicing components to ensure uninterrupted progression from usage processing to billing
- Assess disposition submissions originating in Sales CRM to determine whether they meet processing criteria
- Issue invoices or revise previously generated billing documents according to authorized business rules
- Process goodwill credits or adjustments in a traceable manner that reflects agreed commercial obligations
- Break down combined billable items into separate components whenever invoice processing requires it
- Validate that disposition processing and billing amendments remain consistent with the relevant customer agreements
- Assess the structure and contents of event messages shared between Sales CRM and SAP BRIM
- Verify inbound and outbound event exchanges, covering BRIM disposition requests, billable-item updates for Sales CRM, and invoice confirmation messages
- Evaluate event transmission from start to finish, including response times, retry mechanisms, and exception-processing paths
- Check that balance or financial-limit events are raised correctly when configured thresholds are reached
- Test data conversion and attribute-mapping rules delivered through AEM, SAP BTP, or related integration connectors
- Capture and report defects involving interface mappings, delayed messages, failed delivery, or other integration shortcomings
- Develop support documentation that explains interface mappings and the formats of exchanged events
- Define restoration procedures and escalation routes for integration interruptions and disputes involving billing commitments
- Create comprehensive test specifications covering integration cases, acceptance criteria, and verification steps
Requirements
- 5+ years of business analysis experience gained in enterprise technology, revenue management, billing, or similar delivery environments
- At least one year of experience directing teams or coordinating the work of business analysis professionals
- Practical capability in setting up SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation functions, including rating logic and mediation configuration
- Understanding of Convergent Invoicing processes for producing invoices, handling dispositions, and applying goodwill-related changes
- In-depth familiarity with CPQ lifecycles, encompassing agreement rules, committed volumes, usage tracking, and excess-consumption scenarios in Salesforce CPQ, SAP CPQ, or equivalent products
- Proven background testing application interfaces and integrations based on asynchronous or event-driven communication
- Ability to design testing strategies, arrange suitable test datasets, and conduct detailed data-verification exercises
- Exposure to Advanced Event Mesh, SAP Business Technology Platform, or similar middleware solutions, with motivation to build further expertise in integration technologies
- Ability to retrieve and interpret information from BRIM tables such as FKKBODP, FKKDI, FKKINV, contract account records, and billable-item datasets
- Experience using BRIM database records to verify mediation outcomes and resolve differences found during reconciliations
- Strong SQL skills for examining converted data, locating root causes, and resolving invoicing-related data issues
- Capability to facilitate understanding between technical specialists and revenue, finance, or sales operations teams while clearly recording solution rationale and compromises
- English language skills at B2 level or above for professional verbal and written interaction
Nice to have
- Hands-on exposure to SAP BTP for delivering integrations, application extensions, or cloud-enabled enterprise services
- Understanding of SAP FICO functions and how they interact with accounting, financial reporting, and billing processes
- Experience configuring Salesforce CPQ features that support quoting, product setup, pricing, contracting, and sales operations
