We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our remote team, responsible for driving business analysis activities to ensure the success of our project. In this role, you will lead a team of business analysts and work closely with stakeholders to define business needs, requirements, and project objectives.

You must have extensive experience in business analysis practices, quality management, and stakeholder management, as well as a deep understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of business analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure the success of the project
  • Plan business analysis activities, defining project objectives, and requirements gathering techniques
  • Define and implement business analysis quality control and quality management processes
  • Drive stakeholder management activities, building strong relationships with stakeholders and communicating effectively to align project objectives with business needs
  • Manage risks and issues, identifying potential problems and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Estimate project efforts and timelines, providing accurate and timely updates to stakeholders on project progress
  • Collaborate closely with the development team, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and executed according to project objectives
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives with the development team, ensuring that project objectives are met
  • Ensure that business analysis scaled information management and agile project management methodologies are implemented effectively
Requirements
  • At least 5years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on business need definition and requirements gathering
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a leadership role, leading teams of business analysts to deliver high-quality results
  • Expertise in business analysis quality control and quality management
  • Extensive knowledge of business analysis scaled information management and agile project management methodologies
  • Experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
  • Strong SDLC awareness, with a thorough understanding of the software development process
  • Expertise in risk management, with a proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Efficient effort estimation skills, with a demonstrated ability to accurately estimate project efforts and timelines
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
