We are currently looking for a remote Lead BI Reporting Engineer with proficient ANSI SQL skills in RDBMS and solid data analytical experience to join our team.
The customer is an American worldwide health services organization. Its insurance subsidiaries are major providers of medical, dental, disability, life, and accident insurance and related products and services, the majority of which are offered through employers and other groups.
Responsibilities
- Development of Hive HQL scripts for data extraction from the Data Lake
- Reports preparation
Requirements
- Proficient ANSI SQL skills (grouping, analytical functions, expressions and transformations) in RDBMS
- Solid data analytical experience with ability to analyze big volumes of data (hundreds of megabytes and/or hundreds of thousands of rows)
- Strong data modelling skills
- Attention to details
- English level - B2
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
Nice to have
- Experience with Hive/HQL
