Are you ready to apply your distinct analytical abilities and leadership skills to fresh, complex challenges? We are looking for a Lead BI Business Analyst to join our team of world-class innovators steering data-driven digital transformations.

In this role, you will apply your expert Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Analysis comprehension to drive large-scale, international projects across a variety of business domains—including Finance & Banking, Retail & Distribution, E-commerce, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences & Healthcare, and Telecom.

As a Lead BI Business Analyst, you will act as the critical bridge between business stakeholders (including C-level executives and Product Owners) and engineering teams. You will lead the planning and execution of elicitation activities, design robust dimensional schemas, and drive the implementation of state-of-the-art analytical platforms.

If you are passionate about BI analysis, modeling rich datasets, leading Agile delivery, and integrating cutting-edge technologies like Cloud data warehouses and AI-driven features, this role is designed for you.

Responsibilities
  • Requirements Elicitation & Stakeholder Leadership: Lead discovery meetings, workshops, and elicitation sessions with international clients. Translate high-level business problems into precise, actionable technical requirements and prioritize backlog items (epics, features, user stories)
  • Analytical Solution Architecture: Collaborate with development teams to design, model, and maintain advanced interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power BI or Tableau following industry best practices
  • Data Analysis & Profiling: Actively perform hands-on data discovery, data assessment, and data profiling using advanced SQL queries to ensure source data quality and consistency
  • Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM): Prepare detailed source-to-target mapping, logical/physical data models (Star and Snowflake schemas), data flow diagrams, and comprehensive business requirements documentation
  • Data Migration & Modernization: Partner with engineering teams on end-to-end data migration and modernization projects, advising on ETL/ELT pipeline design, data warehouse (DWH) concepts, staging areas, and cleansing layers
  • Agile Project Delivery: Drive and participate in key Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives). If needed, act as the Data Product Owner on client-facing analytical projects
  • Quality Assurance & UAT: Define testing strategies for data products. Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with customer stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and business alignment of delivered dashboards and reports
  • Mentorship & BI Practice Growth: Foster a collaborative team environment, mentoring junior analysts and developers, and contributing to the maturity of our internal Business Intelligence practices
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in data-related domains (e.g., BI, DWH, Data Migration, Data Governance, or Analytics projects)
  • Requirements Management: 3+ years of expertise specifically gathering, documenting, presenting, estimating, and prioritizing requirements for complex BI, DWH, and analytical solutions
  • Advanced SQL & Profiling: Outstanding proficiency in SQL for analyzing, querying, and profiling massive, complex datasets
  • DWH and Data Modeling: Strong fundamental understanding of DWH architectures, dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema), and data quality assessment
  • BI Tool Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visual analytics platforms for data modeling, transformation (such as Power Query/DAX), and report design
  • Methodology Expertise: Strong fluency in end-to-end project delivery using both Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall frameworks
  • Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently lead presentations and deliver technical content to non-technical business partners
  • Language Skills: Fluent English proficiency (B2+/C1 level or higher)
Nice to have
  • Programming Background: Solid knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) for advanced data manipulation or analytical prototyping
  • Cloud Exposure: Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and services, particularly AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda) or equivalent architectures in Azure, GCP, or Snowflake
  • AI & Innovation: Experience defining requirements for AI/ML-focused features (e.g., predictive analytics, forecasting) or integrating Generative AI features into BI reporting environments
  • Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance frameworks, master data management, and data security policies
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep domain experience in banking/finance, oil & gas, or e-commerce/retail ecosystems
