We are seeking a Lead Backend Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to backend and frontend development teams, guiding them toward successful project delivery
- Define solution architectures and establish technical guidelines to ensure consistency across projects
- Monitor code quality, security, and application performance to maintain high engineering standards
- Coordinate code reviews and provide technical mentoring to support the growth of team members
- Design scalable solutions based on microservices and APIs to meet evolving business needs
- Ensure compliance with development and security standards throughout the software delivery process
- Manage technical risks and propose mitigation strategies to safeguard project outcomes
- Coordinate deployments to ensure smooth, reliable, and timely releases
- Collaborate closely with architecture and business teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of professional relevant experience in backend software development
- At least one year of experience in people management or team leadership, guiding teams of 5 or more FTEs
- Solid backend development experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot for building modern, production-grade applications
- Practical experience implementing batch processes using Spring Batch
- Strong knowledge of microservices-based architecture for designing modular and scalable systems
- Hands-on experience with the integration of REST APIs and asynchronous messaging
- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka and Redis for event-driven communication and caching
- Experience with repository and Git workflow management using GitHub
- Practical use of SonarQube for quality and coverage validation
- Experience with security analysis tools such as Fortify, SAST, and DAST
- Proven ability to design performance- and resilience-oriented solutions
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher
