Lead Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will manage and mentor a team of engineers while ensuring the successful deployment of container services using Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker. Your expertise in CI/CD in Azure will be essential as you work on strategic initiatives and create well-written documentation and procedures. You will leverage your organizational and communication skills to create dashboards and reports that provide transparency and visibility to strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and manage a team of engineers
  • Ensure successful deployment of container services using Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Work on strategic initiatives and create well-written documentation and procedures
  • Create dashboards and reports that provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Azure DevOps
  • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
  • Strong experience in deployment and functionality of container services: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Service
  • Experience with Azure Cloud and Terraform
  • Expertise in version control using Git
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or similar)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, allowing effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
Nice to have
  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with other container orchestration tools like Apache Mesos or Docker Swarm
