Lead Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and mentor and manage a team of engineers. Your primary focus will be to guide the team in developing, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure and applications. You will be responsible for ensuring that our customer's requirements are met and that the team delivers high-quality solutions on time.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and manage a team of engineers, ensuring they deliver high-quality solutions on time
  • Guide the team in developing, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Developers, Architects, and Operations to ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Monitor the performance and availability of Azure infrastructure and applications, proactively identifying and addressing issues
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with best practices, industry standards, and security protocols
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in Azure DevOps
  • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
  • Expertise in Azure Cloud, including deployment and functionality of container services such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Service
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD in Azure
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Proficiency in Linux and a scripting language such as Bash or Python
  • Experience with version control using Git
  • B2+ English level proficiency

  • Expertise in other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform
