We are seeking a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and automation tools to support our cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with development teams to ensure high levels of availability, reliability, and scalability in a dynamic Agile development environment. As a lead engineer, you will also mentor and manage a team of engineers, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of features in a highly competitive industry.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain infrastructure and automation tools to support our cloud-based solutions
- Ensure high levels of availability, reliability, and scalability in a dynamic Agile development environment
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize features in a highly competitive industry
- Create well-written documentation and procedures and create dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in deployment and functionality of container services (e.g.: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Service)
- Strong experience with CI/CD in Azure
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, and a scripting language (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Expertise in version control using Git
- Ability to create well-written documentation and procedures and create dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
- Experience in building and deploying microservices architecture
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for automation and configuration management
