We are seeking a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for mentoring and managing a team of engineers while leveraging your extensive experience in Microsoft Azure and container services, including Docker and Kubernetes, to ensure seamless deployment and functionality. You should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience and at least 1 year of relevant leadership experience. You will also be responsible for implementing CI/CD in Azure and ensuring expertise in version control using Git.
Responsibilities
- Implement CI/CD in Azure
- Ensure expertise in version control using Git
- Develop and maintain container services like Docker and Kubernetes to ensure seamless deployment and functionality
- Create well-written documentation and procedures
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience and at least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Experience with CI/CD in Azure and deployment and functionality of container services such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Service
- Proficiency in Terraform, Linux, Docker, and a scripting language such as Bash or Python
- Experience with Terraform
- Expertise in Azure Cloud and version control using Git
- Ability to create well-written documentation and procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency
Nice to have
- Expertise in other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible or Puppet
