We are seeking a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and mentor and manage a team of engineers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience and 1+ year of relevant leadership experience. As a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous integration and delivery of high-quality software products. You will also utilize your expertise in Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux to manage the deployment and functionality of container services. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating well-written documentation and procedures and creating dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives.
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers
- Ensure continuous integration and delivery of high-quality software products
- Manage the deployment and functionality of container services using Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux
- Create well-written documentation and procedures and dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in CI/CD in Azure
- Strong experience in deployment and functionality of container services: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Service
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Terraform, Linux, Docker, and a scripting language (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Expertise in version control using Git
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to create well-written documentation and procedures and create dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with an upper-intermediate level of competency allowing effective communication with the team and stakeholders
- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
