We are seeking a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. Your primary focus will be on creating and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline in Microsoft Azure, ensuring the smooth deployment and functionality of container services like Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Service. Utilizing your expertise in Terraform, Linux, Docker, and scripting languages like Bash or Python, you will guide the team in creating well-written documentation and procedures, as well as creating dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers, ensuring successful project completion
- Create and maintain the CI/CD pipeline in Microsoft Azure
- Ensure the smooth deployment and functionality of container services like Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Service
- Guide the team in creating well-written documentation and procedures, as well as creating dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, with 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in CI/CD in Azure, container services like Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Service
- Strong experience with Azure Cloud and Terraform, Linux, Docker, and a scripting language (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Ability to create well-written documentation and procedures, as well as create dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Expertise in version control using Git
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with at least an upper-intermediate level
