We are seeking a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and automation tools to support our cloud-based solutions. As a lead engineer, you will manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high levels of availability, reliability, and scalability in a dynamic Agile development environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of features in a highly competitive industry.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and automation tools to support cloud-based solutions
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure high levels of availability, reliability, and scalability in a dynamic Agile development environment
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards
- Optimize and continuously improve the performance and efficiency of cloud-based solutions
- Create well-written documentation and procedures to ensure transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in CI/CD in Azure and deployment and functionality of container services like Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Service
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Terraform, Linux, Docker, and a scripting language (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Strong proficiency in version control using Git
- Ability to create well-written documentation and procedures and create dashboards
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience in Azure DevOps as a Service
- Experience in managing infrastructure as code with tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
