Join our remote team as a Lead Azure Authentication Engineer to work on an exciting project.
You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based authentication solutions to protect applications and data in cloud and hybrid environments. You'll be working with modern authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML. You'll also be using your knowledge of Azure App Services, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, API Gateway – APIM, and Azure AD App Proxy to create and maintain these solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement cloud-based authentication solutions that protect applications and data in cloud and hybrid environments
- Work with modern authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML
- Create and maintain Azure App Services, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, API Gateway – APIM, and Azure AD App Proxy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal technical documentation
- Provide technical mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Microsoft Azure Developer
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
- Expertise in Azure Active Directory B2C, Identity and Access Management, OAuth2, and .NET
- Experience in Angular and XML
- Experience with modern authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and FIDO
- Deep understanding of industry-standard Auth flows (e.g. PKCE, Authorization Code, Client Credentials, etc.)
- Experience in Azure App Services, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, API Gateway – APIM, and Azure AD App Proxy
- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) using Azure AD
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in English with at least an upper-intermediate level of proficiency

- Experience with scripting in Python or Bash
- Experience in scripting with Powershell and XML
