We are seeking a remote Lead Embedded Automotive Developer to join our team. This role requires expertise in embedded systems and familiarity with AUTOSAR Classic and C programming language. Your primary responsibility will be integrating software within Automotive ECUs using AUTOSAR Classic and contributing to the overall software development process using embedded systems. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure conformity with Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Integrate software within Automotive ECUs using AUTOSAR Classic
- Contribute to the overall software development process using embedded systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety standards
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging activities
- Ensure compliance with V-Model software development process
- Lead the team of experienced developers and provide support and guidance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded automotive development
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in AUTOSAR Classic and C programming language
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR/OSEK operating system and Lauterbach/Trace32
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR layered SW architecture, communication stack, diagnostic stack, memory stack, and Crypto stack
- Experience with Vector tools, version control systems, and modern microcontroller architectures
- Compiler knowledge
- Lauterbach/Trace32 experience
- Binary manipulation knowledge (fill, delete, move, copy)
- Experience in any scripting languages like Python, Shell, Batch, Perl, etc.
- Knowledge of unit testing
- Good analytic and problem solving skills
- Ability to work proactively and attention to details
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the V-Model software development process
- Experience in Electronics Engineering
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE standards
