Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead Automation Tester in JavaScript to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with engineers to review acceptance criteria and specifications
- Perform a range of behavioral driven development (BDD) activities
- Analyze product specs, decompose complicated software systems, and design strategies to test these systems
- Define and create new automation test scripts
- Contribute to the creation and update of the Automation Test Strategy
- Assist in removing technical impediments encountered by the team
- Attend, contribute and where appropriate within Agile ceremonies
- Produces test scripts, materials and regression test packs
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Automation QA experience in technically rigorous environments holding extremely high bars for quality and automation
- An understanding of the fundamentals of testing and experience in functional testing, using a value-driven approach
- Design and development experience of test automation frameworks, such as Selenium,Playwright or Cypress
- Proficient in JavaScript
- Familiar with OOP knowledge (knows the OOP concepts)
- Experience with integration testing tools (e.g Postman, Fitnesse, Karate)
- Understanding of non-functional requirements/testing (performance, security, accessibility)
- Knowhow of the key values and principles of Agile, including purpose of ceremonies and Agile estimating and planning
- English level B2+ and higher
